Campus Tours (Optional)
Individual tours are available by appointment daily. Walk-in-Wednesday tours will resume on September 5. To schedule an individual tour, or for more details on visiting campus, please contact the Admission team at email@example.com or 703.584.2314.

Apply for Admission Online
To begin the application process, families are invited to submit an Application for Admission online. The application deadline is Friday, January 19, 2018. After the January 19 deadline, applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until all spaces are filled.
Schedule and Submit Testing
Applicants for Grades 5-8 are required to submit the SSAT. Flint Hill will administer the SSAT on Saturday, December 9, 2017. Register for the SSAT at www.ssat.org. Our SSAT school code is 3173.
International applicants must also submit the TOEFL Junior.
Submit Supporting Materials
The deadline for supporting materials is Friday, January 19, 2018. Supporting materials include:
- Applicants for Grade 5 must submit a recommendation from a current teacher, and applicants for Grades 6-8 must submit two teacher recommendations from their current math and English teachers. Please feel free to download the Grades 6-12 Math Recommendation form, Grades 6-12 English Recommendation form, or the Grades 2-12 Teacher Recommendation form and send them to your child’s teacher. The forms can be completed and emailed back to our office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Transcripts/Progress Reports: The Permission for School to Release Student Records and Transcripts should be submitted to Flint Hill directly from your current school.
- Graded Writing Sample: Applicants for Grades 7-8 must submit a graded writing sample from a current English or history class. The sample must include a grade, teacher edits and comments. You may mail a copy of the writing sample to the School or email it to email@example.com.
Applicants for Grades 7-8 must complete the Candidate Questionnaire.
Parents/Guardians of applicants for Grades 5-8 must complete the Parent Questionnaire.
Parent/Guardian and Student Interviews
An interview allows parents/guardians and students to ask questions about our School community and gives us the opportunity to learn more about your family. Interviews are scheduled daily by appointment. Please contact Annie Greba at 703.584.2314 or firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule your interviews.
School Visit (Optional)
Applicants for Grades 5-8 are invited to complete a half-day visit. Visits are scheduled daily by appointment. During the visit, applicants will visit classes, tour the School and meet members of our faculty. Please call 703.584.2314 or email email@example.com to schedule your visit.
