Empty Bowls

Upper School Campus Commons
On February 24, Flint Hill and the Ceramics Club will host our annual Empty Bowls event to raise awareness and funds to fight hunger in the local community. Students, faculty and staff have worked throughout the year to create handcrafted bowls for the program. Attendees are invited to purchase a simple meal of soup and bread during the event, and may keep their bowls as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world. The event is open to the public.
This year, the School will also host a silent auction featuring designs from artists across the country. All proceeds from the event will benefit DC Central Kitchen.
