Music

Overview

The Flint Hill School Music program allows students of all ages to learn how to express themselves musically. Lower School students learn basic musical concepts through exercises that allow them to play instruments and engage with their classmates. Middle School students participate in instrumental or choral ensembles and have the opportunity to perform at school events and local music festivals. Upper School students can take classes in vocal music, instrumental music, and musical theory as well as participate in instrumental or choral ensembles.

Music studios are found on both the East and West Campus. The West Campus also offers two practice rooms for students who wish to meet for private lessons. The music program offers different opportunities for competition; the ensembles in both the Upper and Middle School travel and compete in festivals each year.
