Welcome to the Arts
Welcome to Fine Arts at Flint Hill School! The primary objective of the Fine Arts program at Flint Hill School is to cultivate literacy in dance, drama, music, and visual arts, as well as an aesthetic sensitivity and artistic awareness in our students.

The faculty and academic programs provide opportunities and the appropriate environments for the development and appreciation of creative thought and self-expression. The program encourages individual approaches to a creative manner of learning and offers each student a genuine appreciation, knowledge, and respect for the intellectual and physical nature of the arts.
Each faculty member of the Department of Fine Arts is a professional artist, actively engaged in his or her field. All bring a passion for the arts to the classroom, as well as the desire to inspire creative expression and self-confidence. The teachers recognize the different abilities and interests of their students, and create adaptable and flexible programs customized to each individual learner.

Flint Hill School students of all ages are exposed to fine arts. Education in the arts begins with the youngest grades, which receive a broad introduction to all four pillars of fine arts. As students progress to the Middle and Upper Schools, course electives become more diverse and specialized.

Enjoy browsing the Arts section of Flint Hill School’s website, and please contact me with any questions you have regarding the program.
