Campus Tours (Optional)
Individual tours are available by appointment daily. Walk-In Wednesday tours occur weekly. To schedule an individual tour, or for more details on visiting campus, please contact the Admission team at email@example.com or 703.584.2314.

Apply for Admission Online
To begin the application process, families are invited to submit an Application for Admission online. The application deadline is Friday, January 18, 2019. After the January 18 deadline, applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until all spaces are filled.
Schedule and Submit Testing
Applicants for Grades 5-8 are required to submit the SSAT. Flint Hill will administer the SSAT on Saturday, December 8, 2018. Register for the SSAT at www.ssat.org. Our SSAT school code is 3173.
International applicants must also submit the TOEFL Junior.
Submit Supporting Materials
The deadline for supporting materials is Friday, January 19, 2018. Supporting materials include:
- Applicants for Grade 5 must submit a recommendation from a current teacher, and applicants for Grades 6-8 must submit two teacher recommendations from their current math and English teachers. Parents of applicants will receive instructions on how to access the Husky Hub, our community information system, which can be used to request recommendations from your child’s teachers.
- Transcripts/Progress Reports: The Permission for School to Release Student Records and Transcripts should be submitted directly to your current school.
- Graded Writing Sample: Applicants for Grades 7-8 must submit a graded writing sample from a current English or history class. The sample must include a grade, teacher edits and comments. You may submit the writing sample through Husky Hub or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Applicants for Grades 7-8 must complete the Candidate Questionnaire.
Parents/Guardians of applicants for Grades 5-8 must complete the Parent Questionnaire.
Parent/Guardian and Student Interviews
An interview allows parents/guardians and students to ask questions about our School community and gives us the opportunity to learn more about your family. Interviews are scheduled daily by appointment. Interviews can be scheduled through Husky Hub, or by contacting the Admission office at 703.584.2310 or email@example.com.
School Visit (Optional)
Applicants for Grades 5-8 are invited to complete a half-day visit. Parents of applicants will receive instructions on how to access the Husky Hub, our community information system, which can be used to schedule the half-day visit. During the visit, applicants will visit classes, tour the School and meet members of our faculty.
