What I Love About Flint Hill

I really love the connection between the student and the teacher due to the smaller class sizes. When it's so easy to ask questions, it opens up the topic I'm learning so much more. When I can get a response from teachers, I feel respected and thought of.

My Life at Flint Hill

My favorite subject in school has to be mathematics. I find it has so many practical uses, and it always has a right and a wrong that can be both seen and approached. There is nothing uncontrollable, and if you know how to do something, you can consistently do it. Also, I find math helps with problem-solving skills, logical thinking and understanding limits.

Outside of the school day, I am involved in the School's math team/club (we don't compete much, but we practice and train as if we do), and the Percussion Ensemble for grades 7 and 8.

My favorite place on campus [is the set of outdoor] benches outside the cafeteria. I love looking out at the gardens with the cute little round bushes dotted around. I just find them adorable.

The Trail I Want to Blaze

When I grow up, I would like to pursue the path of an engineer. Using innovative technology to improve people's lives has always appealed to me, and I love to apply skills I have learned to real scenarios outside of the classroom.

When it's so easy to ask questions, it opens up the topic I'm learning so much more.
