What I Love About Flint Hill
I love that the teachers at Flint Hill not only care about their students' academic growth but growth as people and global citizens, who are able to take an active role in the community and work towards a better world. I also value that Flint Hill teachers and administration not only listen to the student body and teach that every voice matters but encourage students to raise their voices for causes that they truly believe in.
My Life at Flint Hill
I enjoy all my classes and find it interesting seeing how increased knowledge in one subject can translate into other subjects. However, if I had to choose a favorite subject, it would be math. I enjoy the organized and systematic structure of solving problems.
I am also very interested in the arts and take orchestra and dance both inside and outside of school. In addition, I am part of the Asian Student Union club and the UNICEF club.
My favorite place on campus is the new Learning Commons, which I frequent when looking to do productive work and studying. Aside from work, the Learning Commons is also an open yet quiet area where my friends and I enjoy de-stressing with a good book or each other's company.
The Trail I Want to Blaze
I am extremely grateful for my education at Flint Hill, as their effort to help their students succeed in any path they may choose has left me with many trails that I have the opportunity and resources to blaze. I am very passionate about ballet but also have a desire to help people. I would like to professionally pursue ballet, and later, go to medical school and join an Alzheimer's disease research team.
I ... value that Flint Hill teachers and administration not only listen to the student body and teach that every voice matters but encourage students to raise their voices for causes that they truly believe in.
