Teacher Appreciation Next Week!
The Faculty and Staff Appreciation Breakfast will take place on Wednesday, January 16. Breakfast items will be collected during morning carpool on both campuses, on Tuesday, January 15, or you may drop items off at the Miller House Falcon Room, before 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 15. You may view a list of requested items here.
We will also need help assembling the breakfast trays during the afternoon of Tuesday, January 15 — you can sign up to help out here. Special thanks to the Teacher Appreciation Coordinators Michele Triantos and Tina Matsukas for helping to coordinate the event!
For questions, contact Advancement Office Coordinator Adrienne Robinson at firstname.lastname@example.org or 703.584.2391.
Volunteer for the Igloo!
A new year means new opportunities to volunteer and spend time with our Upper School students — the Igloo needs you! The Igloo is a great place to see Flint Hill students at their finest – happy to have finished another day – and hungry for a snack! It’s a quick shift, 2:15-3:40 p.m. daily, and no prior experience is necessary.
Click here to view January opportunities, and sign up for a shift or two. Thank you for your support. We hope to see you there!
We Need your Boxtops!
Clip your Boxtops and provide funds for Flint Hill! Just 10 Boxtops are equal to $1 for our school. Collection boxes are located in the Upper, Middle and Lower School Offices as well as the Miller House. Save Boxtops year-round (and drop them off as you have them); we will be counting more Boxtops in the spring! Want to get involved or have questions? Reach out to this year’s Boxtops Chair Emily Weems P’29.
Financial Aid Application Deadline is Approaching Next Tuesday, January 15
Flint Hill values its commitment to a socioeconomically diverse community. To this end, the School’s Financial Aid Committee convenes each year to review requests for need-based financial aid. Flint Hill uses Financial Aid for Student Tuition (FAST) to assist in determining family need and family contribution.
The application for the 2019-2020 school year can be accessed by visiting the FAST website. The application deadline is January 15. Families who complete the application process by the deadline will receive notification on January 31, with their family’s re-enrollment contract. If you have questions, contact Director of Admission and Financial Aid Lisa Knight at 703.584.2313 or via email at email@example.com.
