    Message From Division Director

Words can not express how grateful I am for you. The Hopes and Dreams Conference jump-starts your child’s school year, which sets the wheels of success in motion. On behalf of the faculty and staff, we appreciate your transparency and consideration. It is going to be an awesome year!

It was the best first day of school … EVER! Students entered the building smiling and excited about their new classroom and teacher. Your child’s Lower School journey will be beautiful and rewarding. It will not be perfect because that does not exist, but it will be worth it. Many of you joined Megan and me this morning in the Olson Theater, during the New Parent Orientation, to learn all about the Lower School. We hope the presentation was helpful and provided clarity about carpool, communication, student expectations, SchoolPass, lunch, parent participation and so much more. As always, reach out to Megan and me anytime if you have any questions.

To support your child’s back-to-school transition, please refer to the Resources section.

    In partnership,
    Robyn

    Robyn M. Nichols
Interim Director of the Lower School

    All-School Calendar Now Available

To get to the All-School Calendar, log in to Husky Hub and click on the Calendar icon in the top menu bar. Scroll down and on the bottom left you can toggle on and off to select which calendars you’d like to display. We strongly recommend displaying the All-School Calendar.

Watch this short video to learn how to feed the All-School Calendar into your personal calendar. Fast forward to the 1:20 mark for the calendar tip. Watch the full video if you’d like a general refresher on Husky Hub.

And remember, the School’s IT department isn’t just for students; it’s a parent resource too! Email helpdesk@flinthill.org to ask a question or set up a time for a private tutorial.

    Calling All Concessions Volunteers!

In addition to the Igloo, there is also a concession stand located on the John M. Thomas Terrace called the Den. We are excited to open it back up for afternoon athletic games. Parent volunteers are needed to help sell concessions in both the Igloo and the Den during the day and after school. More opportunities will be added throughout the year for each athletic season. Please sign up for as many shifts as you'd like, and feel free to invite a friend to sign up with you too.
