What I Love About Flint Hill

Flint Hill to me is more than just a school you attend but an accepting, energetic and motivated community I feel a part of. I love how everyone proactively tries to constantly improve the environment and encourage others to do the same. The teachers all reach out to have a positive relationship with their students and give support when needed.

My Life at Flint Hill

Although every class of mine offers something different, my favorite class would be Contemporary World History II HN taught by Mr. Kolhagen. This class encourages us, students, to look into real-world current topics that are affecting the world around us, and view them from different perspectives, gaining a deeper understanding of the society not only we live in, but around the world.

Flint Hill offers many different programs that will cover just about any personal interest you may have, and for me, that’s always been athletics. I’m involved in football during the fall season, winter track and field, and lacrosse during the spring. The coaches are phenomenal and truly care about not just bettering the team but also developing the athletes and helping them reach their full potential.

My favorite place on campus is The Commons. This area gives students a perfect opportunity to collaborate with each other on schoolwork and also hang out with not just friends they may already know but also new people.

The Trail I Want to Blaze

Flint Hill has continuously encouraged students to be innovative and unlock our full potential and find where we can make our mark, where I personally believe lies in business and marketing. After being prepared for college at Flint Hill, I hope to study business at the University of Miami.
