The Head of School – May 14, 2025

May 14, 2025
Flint Hill Community,
As we enter the final push of the school year, these weeks can feel like a series of “lasts” — last morning meeting, last test or presentation, last home sporting event or concert. For our Huskies, these events can feel big, exciting, scary, or bittersweet (sometimes, all of the above!), particularly for those students who may be on the verge of a divisional transition, as well. I am, as always, incredibly grateful to our families, faculty, and staff for the tremendous support and celebration they provide during these pivotal moments.
On a similar level, a handful of our employees are also approaching their series of “lasts” at Flint Hill. Within the divisional sections of this week’s newsletter, we’re sharing the names of our Husky team members who will embark on their next chapter upon completion of the 2024-25 school year. We are incredibly fortunate at Flint Hill to have a dedicated faculty and staff, with many members devoting decades of their professional lives to our students and community. It's therefore with heavy hearts that we bid farewell when they move on to retirement, relocation, family, or new adventures.
Our ongoing focus at Flint Hill is to ensure we have the best educators working with our students on a daily basis. I am thrilled with the quality, expertise, and mission-alignment of the new hires who will join us in the fall, and more will be shared about that incoming group of Husky team members later this summer. As always, never hesitate to reach out to me with any questions until then.
Right now is an opportunity to share gratitude to this group of departing Huskies. I hope you’ll join me in a big thank you to these individuals leaving us at the end of the academic year, as well as all of those who continuously dedicate themselves to Flint Hill and our Huskies every year.
Go Huskies!
