The Head of School – October 1, 2025

October 1, 2025
Flint Hill Community,
Homecoming Week is here — and with it, a chance to celebrate all that makes our Husky community so special!
This year, we’ve reimagined Homecoming from a single Saturday event into a full week of spirit days, competitions, and community connections — culminating in a Friday afternoon pep rally and evening of celebrations for the entire Flint Hill community. By shifting the schedule, we are not only building momentum throughout the week, but also making it easier for families to join us without the need for a return trip to campus on the weekend.
Already, campus is alive with energy: Upper School students kicked things off with a hilarious “Anything But a Backpack” day on Monday, themed dress days have united grade levels across our divisions, and even our youngest Huskies enjoyed their very own pep rally this morning in the Lower School.
Each afternoon and evening brings more and more excitement — varsity games under the lights, spirited halftime performances featuring K-8 Huskies alongside our Varsity Dance Team, and inspiring renditions of the national anthem by our Upper School vocalists. Music from our band and percussion groups, as well as the traditional bonfire between Friday’s games and Spirit Alley activities will add to the sense of tradition and pride that define Homecoming at Flint Hill.
Click here for the full schedule — including important tips like this one: parking will be tight Friday evening, so please consider parking at the Lower School and taking the shuttle!
Whether you are new to Flint Hill, or have been a Husky for decades, I hope you’ll join us this week to cheer, connect, and celebrate together.
Go Huskies!
