We appreciate your help in getting next year’s course selections submitted, which enables us to begin putting together the scheduling puzzle with the goal of accommodating student interests. We may reach out to you with clarifications or necessary adjustments.
To make changes to your child’s selections:
- For current 7th Graders: Please email Michelle Keatley.
- For current 8th Graders: Please email Upper School Registrar Maha Morse. Current teachers may consider adjustments to their placement recommendations up until Friday, May 1. Between Monday, May 4, and Monday, June 8, you may schedule an appointment with US Assistant Director and Academic Dean Howard Chang to discuss probationary enrollment in at most one honors class without a teacher recommendation.
Please let me know if I can help, support, or facilitate.

Do You Have Artificial Intelligence Expertise?
From time to time, teachers look to enrich the classroom experience by connecting students with real-world perspectives. The depth of knowledge within the parent and alumni community makes that possible in meaningful ways.
As interest in artificial intelligence continues to grow across disciplines, the School is beginning to explore ways we might tap into this expertise. If you have experience in AI or a related field and are open to being a resource, we would welcome the opportunity to connect. There is no set format or commitment at this stage.
Please contact Assistant Head of School for Institutional Advancement Meredith VanDuyne if you are willing to be contacted as a potential resource in the future (no obligations).
Thank you for helping Flint Hill take meaningful risks, explore emerging ideas, and make connections beyond the classroom.
