Preparing for the 2026-27 School Year & School Forms
The Preparing for the 2026-27 School Year tile is now live on the Husky Hub Resource Board with important action items for parents in each division.
Upper School Reading Day — Thursday, May 28
Reading Day at Flint Hill is on Thursday, May 28, 8:25 a.m. - 2:40 p.m. (with Office Hours running until 3:30 p.m.). It is a required day for all 9th grade students, but it is optional for 10th and 11th grade students. The day is designed so students can prepare for their exams while teachers are available to answer questions. We schedule blocks for all seven classes to meet that day, so students have a dedicated time to see their teacher. Please note that 10th and 11th grade students may not come and go repeatedly during that day. Once they have left campus, they should not return to campus.
Uniform and Spirit Wear Drop-Off Still Going!
Parents can drop off gently used uniform and spiritwear items at the front entrance of the Lower School building through Friday, May 29. Enter through Door 1 and follow the signs to the drop-off location. Middle and Upper School parents are welcome to contribute, too! Please be sure items have been laundered. Reach out to Olivia Landrum with any questions.

Upper School Awards Ceremony — Friday, June 5
We will hold the Upper School Awards Ceremony on Friday, June 5, 1:00-3:00 p.m. Because the Grade 6 and Grade 8 Promotion Ceremonies are also taking place that day in the Upper School, we are asking students to wait until 12:00 p.m. before arriving on campus so we have ample parking and space. Here are some other key pieces of information about the ceremony.
More Details
- If a student is winning an award that day, we will contact their family in advance so they can attend. Attendance for Upper School students is encouraged but not required.
- Parents attending the event should park in the Upper School visitor parking or faculty parking areas and walk over to the Upper School Gym.
- The Awards Ceremony program includes the presentation of a variety of Flint Hill endowed awards, community awards, membership in honors societies, and the announcement of the Flint Hill Medal award winners.
- Recommended dress for students: Collared shirt or blouse with khaki-style or dress pants; skirt with a blouse; or sundress.
- Students are dismissed from school immediately after the ceremony.
- Please note that there is no bus service on this day.
Last Day of Bus Service — Thursday, June 4

- Turn in Your Senior Time Capsule — Since 2006, Flint Hill seniors have celebrated the tradition of creating personal time capsules to be unsealed at their 10-year Reunion. After recently witnessing the Class of 2016 rediscover their memories, we encourage every member of the Class of 2026 to participate and give their "future selves" a highlight to look forward to in 2036! Seniors can drop off their capsules at the College Advising Office.

2026-27 Student Travel Opportunities
As we look ahead to the 2026-27 school year, we want to give you a comprehensive overview of the incredible student travel opportunities available to Flint Hill students. These travel opportunities are a wonderful way for students to build strong bonds with their peers and chaperones while also expanding their world through new experiences. To help you with your family's planning, you can now explore all of this year's options, dates, and financial commitments in one place: our Student Travel Opportunities webpage. Contact Director of After School and Summer Programs Matt McCoart with any questions.
Sibling Admission Interest Form
Current families with children who may be interested in enrolling at Flint Hill in the future are encouraged to submit our sibling interest form. Letting our team know of your interest well in advance means you’ll receive early updates and the opportunity for an earlier admission indication. Please reach out to the Admission Team with any questions.
