    Register for New Parent Night — Wednesday, April 8

    We look forward to seeing you at New Parent Night on Wednesday, April 8, 6:00-8:00 p.m., at the Upper School. The conversations with administrators and parents about what to expect next year will be a great way to connect with the Flint Hill community and prepare for the transition. If you haven’t already, please register now!

    Husky Hub Resources

    You can access our Resource Board in Husky Hub. On Monday, May 4, a tile titled Preparing for the 2026-27 School Year will be added to the Resource Board. It will include detailed information to help you prepare for the year ahead.

    While in Husky Hub, you can also click “Child’s Name” or “Children” to access information about your student(s) and click “Directories” to access the School’s Online Directory.

    Registration will be shared for these New Husky Welcome Events in the coming weeks:

    • Lower School Playground Party (Grades JK-3), Sunday, April 26, 3:00 p.m.
    • Lower School Mini Golf (Grades 4-6), Sunday, April 26, 4:00 p.m.
    • Middle School Mini Golf, Thursday, April 23, 4:30 p.m.
    • Upper School Mini Golf, Tuesday, April 28, 6:00 p.m.

    We'll hold 'Preparing for the Year Ahead' virtual events for each division in early May. These events aim to help you transition to Flint Hill easily! Save the date:

    • Lower School, Tuesday, May 5, 12:00 p.m.
    • Middle School, Wednesday, May 6, 12:00 p.m.
    • Upper School, Thursday, May 7, 12:00 p.m.

    Course Placement and Registration

    Course registration looks different for each division. Information about this was included in your welcome email after submitting your enrollment contract. A quick summary for each division is below.

    Planning for Health Forms — All Forms Must Be Dated After May 1

    Required health forms for the 2026-27 school year will be available to print on Friday, May 1, in Husky Hub. Families will be able to upload completed forms on or after Saturday, June 13. All health forms must be uploaded by Saturday, August 1. Please note that all forms must be dated after May 1 to be valid for the upcoming school year. We encourage families to schedule medical appointments after May 1. Students will not be permitted to participate in preseason athletics or other school activities until all required health documentation has been received and approved.

    Additional reminders and guidance will be shared this summer from Athletics and Health Services to help you stay on track. For additional questions, please contact the Director of Health Services, Mary Hart.

    Summer on the Hill: Spaces Available

    Spaces are still available for Summer on the Hill! Summer on the Hill offers enrichment, academic, and athletic camps, as well as other options via our partner camps.

    Headfirst Summer Camps is excited to return to Flint Hill for our 11th summer on campus, offering newly admitted students a fun, supportive way to get acclimated in their new school community and make friends before the year begins.

    Hosted right on the Flint Hill campus, Headfirst Summer Camps offers a wide range of programs for PK3–Rising 8th graders, including day & Jr. day camp, art & STEM, and multi-sport — plus the official Washington Nationals Baseball & Softball Camps and D.C.     Arts Jam: Experience Our Performing Arts Program

    We invite you to join us for Flint Hill’s annual Arts Jam concert on Wednesday, April 15, 7:00-9:30 p.m. at the Center for the Arts on the Fairfax Campus of George Mason University. The concert reflects the heart of our Performing Arts program — creativity, collaboration, and the shared joy of making music together. It will be a wonderful night of entertainment that spotlights our talented percussion, choir, band, and musical theater ensembles.

    The performance is family-friendly and appropriate for all ages. Admission is free, and no reservations are necessary. Get more information about the venue, including a map and parking instructions.
