WRAPPING UP THE SCHOOL YEAR
As we enter May and the final weeks of the school year, there are countless events (large and small) that celebrate the connections, experiences, and excellence at Flint Hill.
From our Upper School Visual Arts Show last week, this weekend’s Spring Musical, and ample celebration of our seniors during spring athletics’ senior nights and Senior Day festivities, our eldest Huskies are balancing excitement and appreciation as they put finishing touches on their academic work in preparation for AP exams, finals, and end-of-year projects.
In the Middle School, our 7th and 8th graders are getting ready for their full-day field studies trips to Washington, D.C., this Friday. These opportunities galvanize their in-class learning and advisory connections with real-world applications and insights through engagement with museums, historical sites, and a whole lot of fun.
In the Lower School, our 4th graders are headed to Jamestown for their field trip on Friday, tied to their study of the colonies and early US History, while other grades are putting an exclamation point on the year with grade-level field trips, including our upcoming big celebration of our 6th graders, including a class breakfast and fun day trip to a surprise location to be shared with the group very soon!
We hope you’ve been checking out all of the interesting activities, lessons, and field trips documented on our Flickr and Instagram accounts.
