Clay Camp: Mud n’ Fire

Get fired up! Join in the fun this summer at the clay studio for a two week intensive in ceramics. This camp introduces young potters to a variety of construction, decorating and firing methods. Whether working to create sculpture, hand building forms, or on the potter’s wheel, students learn in a supportive and small class setting with plenty of individual instruction and inspiration from one another as well as our teaching artists. Clay Camp is designed for all skill levels to develop technical ability with clay while exploring unique ideas and expressions. Each camper will create a body of work they can both use and admire for many years to come. We will host an exhibition of the artist’s works at the conclusion of the session with a reception for all to come and enjoy the work and visit with our artists.
